WHEN North Somerset Council is good I find it mediocre, but when it is bad, they are ruddy awful.
WHEN North Somerset Council is good I find it mediocre, but when it is bad, they are ruddy awful.
The following statement from Councillor Elfan Ap Rees was submitted onto the Mercury website on Saturday January 9. "If the salt isn't ending up on the roads where it is intended, it could result in an accident, simply because of someone whose behaviour is selfish in the extreme.
If the salt isn't ending up on the roads where it is intended indeed, ironic, I feel as I certainly haven't seen any on our road this winter and I feel Old Mill way is a fairly large road and bus route.
I would love to know where it is ending up. And I feel many of these people, though I am not one of them, are most likely taking the salt to put on pavements and roads and paths where elderly relatives and children reside, not being selfish but doing the council's job for them, thank goodness for the unselfish commonsense of the residents of Weston, otherwise it could end up in an accident. Thank you Mr Ap Rees.
