Re Cabstand Junction traffic lights in Portishead: This junction worked perfectly well before the alterations. To restore traffic flow
Re Cabstand Junction traffic lights in Portishead: This junction worked perfectly well before the alterations. To restore traffic flow and safe crossing for pedestrians, I suggest the following.* Remove the traffic lights from the junction of Wyndham Way/High Street.* Replace the traffic lights at Cabstand junction with pedestrian controlled lights to allow pedestrians to access Waitrose, Portishead Primary School and the library (if we ever get one) and the marina.* Create a roundabout at the Cabstand junction.* Traffic emerging from the High Street should go forward at the new roundabout at Cabstand and the central reservation in Wyndham Way continue towards Cabstand to stop traffic turning right out of the High Street.R W Waterhouse - Newport Close, Portishead
