I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the South West Ambulance Service and to the ladies who assisted me following my unfortunate accident in Nailsea. On Wednesday April 2 at 11.45am, while shopping with my wife in her electric wheelchair, I tripped over and fell face down on the pavement outside the jewellery shop in the High Street. One lady from Congresbury and the other from Nailsea helped me to get back up and they sat me in a chair. They also contacted the ambulance service. The response of the paramedic, Sarah, was first class. She was kind, caring and professional throughout. She even gave me an ECG and attended to my cuts and bruises, which saved me being taken to hospital. My thanks to the Congresbury and Nailsea ladies and also Sarah the very excellent paramedic.Frank Huff, Sambourne Lane, Pill
