NORTH SOMERSET COUNCIL says it is not concerned that signing the contract for the Tropicana has been put off until next year. As usual, the taxpayers' views seem to be of little interest. North Somerset Council seems to be ignoring the fact that we are most concerned about the constant postponements. The developer Henry Boot says the new date is only a target anyway and the project is complicated. I hope this does not mean we are looking at another Bath Spa where the costs escalate out of all proportion as the completion date disappears over the horizon.
