IN RESPONSE to Mrs Payne's letter to the Weston Mercury on February 1 regarding abuse in care homes, I am writing to point out the article printed certainly did not reflect my feeling on how elderly people are being fed. Any form of neglect or abuse in care homes is unacceptable and proper nutrition and meal times are a vital part of the social care and well-being of residents.
