MY FRIENDS and I rang a local hotel to book a Christmas party treat. We explained to the receptionist that we were senior citizens aged 60 upwards. We then paid a deposit.One week later we rang and asked if our table for 26 people was booked. They said they didn't book tables, we would have to take pot luck and sit at any table available. We also asked about a lift and ramp to the hotel and were told ramps were not allowed. We got the feeling that old people were not wanted at this hotel. We cancelled and asked for our deposit back. The relief on the end of the phone could be heard all over Weston. I do hope the owners and workers at this hotel never get old and get treated how they treated us.MRS PAT MASON - Hutton Moor Lane, Weston
