Dubious at best

SO THERE we have it! This Conservative Council mislead over refuse collections to get in power and now steamroller the purchase of offices in Clevedon.

The council has obviously not done a proper evaluation of the cost implications of a move and the small saving they are suggesting is dubious at best.

They are splitting the council into two locations 12 miles apart. They are moving half the Council to a town with poor bus links with Weston and a town with no railway - really green thinking.

Apparently there is some mad dash to move and cannot wait for purpose-built offices walking distance from the Town Hall to be built tailor-made for purpose, and cheaper.

Conservative Councillors quote the move to Clevedon as a 'no-brainer'; I think 'no brains' is a better description.
