I WAS more than surprised to hear that this council proposes to make even more changes to the road infrastructure, this time to close the entrance to Aiscombe Way from the Hutton Moor roundabout. Surely the safest way to enter and exit that road is from a roundabout, not some 200 metres or so along a busy dual carriageway. Turning in may be OK but exiting will be a different matter, especially for commercial vehicles. With the public being encouraged to recycle more waste, where will the vehicle queue extend to if the plan goes ahead - along the dual carriageway. Perhaps more money will then need to be spent on signage with no right turn signs to the recycling facility ensuring vehicles turn round at the Heritage roundabout. So what will this achieve? It is obvious that with the development currently in progress this estate will become even busier. TREVOR CHAPMAN - Sunningdale Road, Worle
