It's as simple as that. Particularly if she is terrifying children with that vacuous nonsense called hell and if they don't believe in one mythic character they'll spend eternity in the thrall of another made up entity.
Let's have no more of this nonsense that Christians are a persecuted minority. This simply isn't the case and is nothing more than agit-prop.
We only have to look at history to see that those who have been guilty of the most heinous crimes against humanity have been the religious. Even today the religious persecute women, children, homosexuals, secularists and people of other faiths. That is a more realistic indication of our society.
As for the Freemasons mentioned in Mr Nash's letter, well for a long time they protected atheists, secularists and scientists from the death wielding persecution of the church. So good for them I say.
