FIRST we get a 1.9 per cent council tax rise just to appease the electorate, services are cut, staff are laid off, then we are told of 24 to 50 per cent rises in councillors' perks are allowances. Now this council has the cheek to use council tax money for a three course dinner, all because of electing a chairman.Are these people not aware everyone is feeling the pinch?
