Had we known all the facts regarding the closure of Banwell Library we would not have been so hasty to convey our worries about it.

However, we feel we represent the voice of the common people and would like to point out that it seems the full facts of this (and maybe many other newsworthy items?) are not always fully reported in the media, which can sometimes cause unnecessary and unfounded concerns, plus not all of us are aware of the procedures of the inner workings of the council.

Regarding our comments about Banwell Post Office, it was our intention to highlight the general national threat to rural post offices and not Banwell in particular.
