YOUR paper recently published an article on a film that was being made around the Weston area.
The title of the film intrigued me it is Never Let Me Go.
I was involved in a film that was made around 1953 in Newquary, Cornwall. It featured actors Clark Gable, Gene Tierney, Bernard Miles and my friend Delmer Daves the director who recently had completed the western film, called 'High Moon' with Gary Cooper,
What a coincidence that both films have the same titles? I wonder if any of your readers are aware of this film being made by the MGM Studios of America.
The director Delmer Daves was fascinated by the legend of King Arthur and would spend days cycling around Tintagel in North Cornwall. Wonderful memories.
