MY son attends Ashcombe Primary. He has a card to give to his Valentine, which he gave her on Saturday when they went to the pictures together. So no harm done there.

However, as a parent who has occasional dealings with Mr Turner, I have to say that he is the finest head teacher I have ever known, a man who balances every little crisis with care, thought and attention.
I am delighted with the high standard of education my son has received at Ashcombe School and that is the only measure of Mr Turner's work that interests me.
