I would like to bring to your readers attention a wonderful free service taking place in our area.I am 51 and was made redundant last year and thought I would not work again.I spotted an item in your paper saying that there was free careers advice for adults in Clevedon, Nailsea, Yatton and Congresbury. So I phoned and made an appointment.I met with Debbie from CSV and she helped me look for local jobs. I phoned up after four of the jobs and one of the companies invited me for an interview. She had given me a self help pack on preparing for job interviews so I practised what to ask and how to answer questions.I went for the interview and was offered the job. I think a lot of older people could get a lot out of getting this type of help so would be grateful if you would publish this letter so others can contact CSV on 0117 9082266 and get the same support that I had.Mark Barry - Old Church Road, Clevedon
