KEWSTOKE residents seem to be over-reacting to the new mental health hospital in the district. Scare stories in the London based press lead people to think the mentally ill are all evil hooligans. In reality, the vast majority of those with mental health problems are friendly, law-abiding folk.The new Kewstoke facility will have its positive aspects. Patients will spend a considerable amount in local shops, thus boosting business and safeguarding the future of local stores.ANDY PATTEN - Regent Street, Weston
