REGARDING concerns about future damage to the Beach Lawns, this is what the Tropicana working party said in relation to the Henry Boot proposal at the council meeting in June 2005:"The working party was impressed by the Lifestation concept with its concentration of leisure uses in this proposal and the treatment of car parking which leaves the Beach Lawns untouched".The working party went on to recommend the proposal as the preferred scheme.
