READING in last week's Weston Mercury what are North Somerset Council up to and where is the threat in having a large PLC such as Laura Ashley housed in its own store?
Thank goodness for Mike Bell and his positive approach, as having Laura Ashley will encourage other giants in the retail marketplace and benefit Weston as a whole.
Just look at Truro in Cornwall with their amazing shopping centre with all the well know brand stores.
Can our council get with it please?
