THE Barcode cafe is a vital facility. It gives kids the chance to meet and socialise in a friendly and safe environment. It also has a role in crime prevention. Children with nothing to do often end up hanging around on street corners and get into trouble. Barcode allows the young people of Weston to use their spare time constructively.It is essential that the cafe is saved. Weston Town Council should continue to fund this project.If the town councillors make the daft decision to end the funding, then North Somerset Council must step in and finance the cafe.ANDY PATTEN - Jubilee Road, Weston
