As long as he goes to school and does his lessons, I would have thought that is what matters. When I see the girls in their short skirts, I think that is more distracting to other pupils than a few lines, no matter what pattern, cut into an individual's hair - as long as they are not indecent. As for saying there isn't another boy within a 30-mile radius with this haircut, has he not been to Bristol lately?
