YOUR pictures and article about the 'closure' of the beach between Knightstone and Grand Pier are slightly misleading. I have this week been able to walk my dog on this stretch of beach. The entrance is via the slope by the pier. The council and construction workers have done all they can to confine the excluded areas. Please be fair to them. I'm surprised I end up defending this council, as if they allow the Tropicana plans to go ahead they will have committed a criminal act of desecration and vandalism of our seafront and lawns, but on this occasion they are doing well.
