I READ with a mixture of hope and despair the letter in last week's paper from Jordan Dyer relating to the use of the now defunct Tropicana.I once wrote to the council regarding the use of the Tropicana, while it was still functioning, suggesting the facility could be improved by the addition of a roof so that it could be used all the year round, taking into account the English weather.I received a reply thanking me for my letter but stating that my idea was not practical.Good luck Jordan.
