I HAVE to raise the subject of the condition of the pavement from the Old Thatched Cottage restaurant to the corner of Upper Church Road in Weston. This has been in disrepair for many years but surely it is cheaper to repair than to compensate the day trippers (excuse the pun). This is, after all, one of the busiest areas of the town and is in the vicinity of the Lauriston, a hotel catering for the blind whose residents would appreciate a level, flat pavement, not a sloping uneven nightmare. It's bad enough for those of us who can see.BOB PAYNTER - Via email
