I WISH to draw your attention to the work being carried out in Weston Woods, namely the new pathways. The first new pathway from the entrance to the woods nearly up to the water tower was for pushchairs and disabled people in wheelchairs to be able to enjoy the woods, not for irresponsible dog owners to allow their pets to foul the pathway. It does not take much common sense to realise that after a quick run around most dogs need to empty their bowels so it is not beyond the intelligence of human beings to watch their pets for the first 15 minutes in case this happens and clear it up accordingly. The pathways are being put down for people and children to walk in comfort, not to have to play hopscotch around dog poo. From a careful dog owner.PAM CLARK - Seabrook Road, Weston
