IT SEEMS totally illogical that the National Treatment Agency doles out grants to help drug addicts on the basis of the number originating in the local community. This gives the impression that the true number coming to Weston from other areas is unknown. Either accurate statistics should be obtained and funding provided for the number in treatment in our town or the other authorities allowed to send people here should send us the funds they have been allocated for their treatment.CLLR MIKE KELLAWAY-MARRIOTT - Central Ward, Weston-super-Mare Town Council
