MAY I through your paper present a bouquet to our council. (They don't seem to get many). From Monday February 25, they are at last prepared to admit that all litter on the streets and public areas is not dog mess, and that soiled nappies, used drinks tins, food wrappings, cigarette packets, broken glass, etc, is just as objectionable to the residents of Weston. I wait with baited breath to see if the results of the specially trained environmental health staff will begin to make a difference at last. It is after all our community charge that is funding them, I expect. ROBERT LOWE - The Swallows, Locking Castle
