REFERRING to an article in last week's Mercury by Clare Hayes about our new Mayor, Councillor John Ley-Morgan and his plans for our town, I must say I agree with his views on the 'white elephant' that would be the new Tropicana. Keep hands and cars off our Beach Lawns! They are one of our biggest assets and the functions that use them for parking now are quite sufficient.MRS PAT WILSON - Underhill Drive, Uphill
