Well, this is the last straw as a near OAP. I think it's a downright cheek. I paid in council tax and other taxes all my 43 working years, a large part paying for OAPs in my younger days.Now I pay council tax with part of this paying for children's education. My children are 36 and 41-years-old. Swings and roundabouts I think. We all get old, even the young.So lay off the elderly.
