I WAS born and bred in Weston but I am so fed up with what the high-paid people that run Weston are doing to the town. We moved to Cornwall where life is so much better-run. Visiting the town last week I took flowers up to the Milton Road cemetery to place on the family graves. I was disgusted to see how some of the grave stones were pushed over and some smashed or broken. No way would the people down here put up with it. For goodness sake, you people up there, stand up for yourselves. If you don't Weston will die. It is such a shame that the Weston we knew has gone. Please, please, make a stand now. By the way, what is that thing where there used to be a grand-looking clock. There were other people looking at it. They asked us if we lived here and what it was, we said reluctantly: "No we are just here for the day", and walked away in case we were recognised by people we knew. I think it will be some time before we come up again. So long, Weston.MR R J COOK - Polmassick, Cornwall
