SO Henry Boot can start work on the Tropicana thanks to the listening councillors. I would like to ask what is the population of Weston and district, in the age group from baby to 40, for example, then as a conservative guess about how many visitors would be coming to Weston when the Tropicana opens? The point I am making is how many will be allowed into the pool area before health and safety becomes an issue, because looking at the size of the swimming area I cannot see how two into one works. Will those staying at the hotel have privileged access? At the moment we are all suffering the credit crunch. How long will people be staying at home or coming to Weston only to find the pool facilities are full or too expensive? The pier at least will be up and running. If the hotel does not pay, will Boot be allowed to convert it into flats, or is that to be kept quiet?P J MAIN - Axe Close, Weston
