AS A pupil many decades ago at Christ Church School I have always been grateful for the quality of education provided then and have followed the high standards still maintained by the dedicated staff with enthusiastic support from parents.I used to walk along Baker Street each day. I think of kindly folk like Mr and Mrs Heath, greengrocers, selling bananas for one penny each or seven for sixpence!Even now I frequently walk there and hear the lively chatter of the children and parents. Is your correspondent, Mr M J Rogers of Baker Street, serious when he asks (January 5, page 6) for the parents to be given ASBOs so that his breakfasts should not be disrupted, or is the humour shown in his frequent letters to you so subtle that it is beyond my limited mental processes?FREDERICK PARSONS - Wick St Lawrence
