RE: THE Tropicana, this is exactly what Weston desperately needs. I have been for this type of development for over five years. Holidaymakers want something on the seafront, not elsewhere in the town. I know we already have a cinema but this is way out of date. You can hear the sound tracks from other screens. This is why so many people go to Cribbs. Also our bowling alley is looking tired and run down.Without this our town can kiss goodbye to tourists, and the money they bring in. Most other seaside resorts would do anything to get this, so don't turn it down. Weston must have a future as a major town in the holiday industry. I also agree that we need more high street shops to stop all the money going to Cribbs and Bristol.LESLIE BEAVAN -Jubilee Road, Weston
