I totally agree with Diana Dowling's comments (letters, March 8)about the dangers of cycling through Cabstand. I regularly cycle though the system and, without forward cycle stop lines, have to stop in the middle of the traffic lanes. I regularly get abuse from frustrated drivers who have been held up by the system. I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before a cyclist is involved in a serious accident. My wife, like Diana, will no longer cycle through the traffic light system, even on a Sunday. Maybe our wonderful experts should try riding though it. I always thought road systems were for all road users, clearly North Somerset engineers don't class cyclists as road users.DAVE BOON - Vie e-mail
