I HAVE just read the article 'Road to close to cars for good' in the March 30 edition of the Weston Mercury and am dismayed to see that Moor Lane is going to be closed for good. The already congested roads, lined with parked cars as there is not enough suitable residents' parking, will soon become a maze of sheer chaos. You can only fit one car along the road at any one time due to the high volume of legally and illegally parked cars. I anticipate it will take me twice the amount of time to reach my home when I am unable to use Moor Lane. I am also concerned that cars parked along Longridge Way may be damaged by traffic. Residents may also start parking on pavements which will make life very difficult for pedestrians.SAMANTHA BULL - Walkers Drive, Weston
