REGARDING the Italian Gardens Farmers' Market, I only have one complaint. How is it that flags within the market were displayed in the following order from top to bottom on the flagpole: the French flag; the European flag; the German flag; the English flag and finally the Polish flag.Would this be allowed in any other EU country? Surely as this event is taking place in England, the English flag should not be fourth on the list? I am not anti-European, but a sense of national pride should be shown. I cannot see the French allowing St George to be above the French flag.Other than that, well done to the council for putting together an event such as this. Maybe next time we'll see St George somewhere near the top of the flag pole.PHILIP KITE - Via email
