Has he ever been to the only swimming pool in Weston (Hutton Moor)?

It is packed nearly every day with children/schools/swim clubs so much so that I never get to swim unless I pay out a fortune on private leisure clubs (as an adult not wanting to swim in a pool full of kids splashing around).

People of all ages love swimming, it is a past time that has never tired.

One reason the Tropicana became empty is the high fees and changing weather conditions of the British Isles (and the fact that Weston used to be a town full of retired people).

You can't have an open air swimming pool in the UK and expect it to be full everyday.

Weston needs another pool; one that benefits the community as a whole and not just tourists. This means it has to have a reasonable price attached to it. I can assure you that swimming is popular with kids.

Also, Weston as a town has increased in size yet the facilities have not. There's one swimming pool and a serious lack of good, cheap parking facilities.

It's not just the oldies of the town reminiscing....it's an essential requirement of a growing town which has more young people than it ever did before. You have to accommodate this change.

It should be a basic, covered pool with maybe a few cafes/shops around it. No hotels, there are plenty in Weston, and no 'high-rise' structures that affect those living opposite.

It is achievable and should be done.
