IT IS pointless moaning about the council for they have no interest in the concerns of residents of Weston.
Just look at the make-up of the councillors, the Tories have 46 seats - only 18 represent Weston. There's a seven strong executive, only one for Weston.
The Tories can do what they want, for they hold all the voting power. All the silver has been sold, now it's The Playhouse, Winter Gardens, museum, plus three village libraries to close.
One minute the council cannot afford services for the people - next they are proposing a �16m loan for a move.
But when you face the facts you cannot blame them for what they do.
Who keeps on voting for them? Due to low turnouts, plus the apathetic nature of the electorate, the Tories will continue to have their own way.
