HAVING visited Cheddar last week and parked in the car park I was confronted by a sign saying my car would be clamped if I had no parking ticket.Having an 87-year-old, a 78-year-old and myself disabled in the car, I parked and got out to purchase my parking ticket. There was no ticket machine to be seen and no one to take my money. There were no signs to direct me to any payment booth.I walked down the hill and went into a cafe to enquire where to pay and was directed to Gough's Cave.I went into the office of Gough's Cave and asked why a sign could not be put in a prominent place for all motorists to see?The car park should be manned at all times or signs to direct where to pay.E WHITE - The Vale, Bleadon
