NOW that there will be a change in council, I wish to ask for the car-parking permit for senior citizens to be reintroduced at a discounted rate in the current year. Shoppers are finding it is becoming increasingly difficult to park in the streets whereas the car parks are rarely full.It is now up to the new council to listen to what the residents want, eg just a swimming pool on the seafront, leave the library where it is, do not demolish Dolphin Square, no more 'carrots', no parking meters, fill up the road potholes, rethink the promenade sea defence barrier, etc, etc.NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
