CLLR Elfan Ap Rees wrote a letter criticising the president of the local Chamber of Commerce for objecting to the council's intended jobs move to Clevedon.
The councillor said that since he hadn't received a single objection to the plan those now offering criticism were somehow misguided.
In the interests of fair play perhaps Cllr Ap Rees would tell us how many of Weston's 80,000 people wrote to him in support of his plan to chop 700 jobs in Weston.
I would have thought that by now the paper would be full of letters from Tory leaning Westonians claiming the economic benefits of this move - but to date not a single supportive letter from Tories or from anyone else.
These councillors have the cheek to say they represent us when they don't even represent their own supporters. I just don't understand how they are selected in the first place.
