AS A regular visitor to Weston, I was pleased to see in February that the council was replacing the damaged fencing on the road above the old pier (Birkett Road, I think). I came again in March and work had started, on Good Friday not much more had been done and when we came on May Day it seemed no further on.We enjoy walking from Weston to the Cliffs Cafe every time we come to Weston and sometimes, because of overhanging vegetation forcing us to walk further out into the busy road, it is not always a pleasant walk. Last time it felt dangerous because of the inadequate safety fencing.I hope this will soon be sorted out so that next time we come we can enjoy the view and walk in safety.KAREN CARSLEY- Hinckley, Leicestershire
