COULD anyone please tell me if the coaches and their occupants who occupy a large part of the promenade during the carnival give a donation to the event?I happened to be standing near a coach when a collector tapped on the door for donations. Not only did the driver not open the door but the occupants, who were all cosily having hot drinks and refreshments, called out 'we haven't any money'.It would seem once again that the term 'free entertainment' is taken too literally although, judging by all the discarded rubbish, there is money about but not enough is given to the right cause.NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
