IN THE Weston Mercury of March 10 you ran a story about bad parking that could cost lives. It is not only Weston that has this problem. Try Banwell, Winscombe, Cheddar, Axbridge, Congresbury, Yatton and just about any other village in the area. Anti social behaviour is punished with an ASBO. So why not punish bad parkers with an ASPO, An Anti Social Parking Order?The offender would be required to attach a prominent sign to their car, or any car they drive, for a period of three months. Repeat offences could lead to a driving ban. It would certainly promptly cure a lot of bad parking habits.ERROL CHANDLER - Winscombe
