REGARDING refuse collections and S Taylor's letter in reply to mine the previous week, I must challenge the logic. The weather is irrelevant. We all have to cope with that and it should not determine whether a job is done properly or not.Of course I agree with recycling properly and I always follow the code and would not condone otherwise. However, this is not the only reason bags split. It could be rough handling, vermin or cats getting there first or a weak point in the bag, to name just a few.So it should be obvious any such occurrences should be coped with at the time, which is what my letter was pointing out.A DAVIS - Victoria Quadrant, Weston
