NORTH Somerset's Executive has agreed the Joint Local Transport Plan which includes details of highway schemes for this area. The Claverham Road has been allocated £294,500 for repairs. Whilst it will no doubt be argued this was always the intention of the council, I wonder if my continuing action to highlight the state of the road and the obvious concerns of so many people in the area forced the executive member to take note and put the money in. I hope the statement in the plan that "it may be necessary to amend the programme throughout the year" does not result in the repairs to the Claverham Road being delayed again! WENDY GRIGGS - Yatton
