Earlier this year following a hip operation I was walking on crutches along a busy pavement in Clevedon. A lady and dog travelling on a mobility scooter towards me with the lady shouting 'out of the way' as she came, scattering pedestrians ahead of her.
Earlier this year following a hip operation I was walking on crutches along a busy pavement in Clevedon. A lady and dog travelling on a mobility scooter towards me with the lady shouting 'out of the way' as she came, scattering pedestrians ahead of her. I was forced out on to the road! Some months later a friend from Congresbury told a tale of how, when walking in Clevedon he had to jump out of the way of a mobility scooter, complete with lady and dog who drove straight at him.As for the people of Clevedon, when on crutches I was touched by the kindness and consideration shown me by the majority of those I met.J TempleVia e-mail
