MY WIFE and I went to a thoroughly enjoyable concert in the Blakehay, Wadham Street, Weston, given by the RAFA Concert Band and the Abbey Road Duo. Theme for the evening was Reflections of the Beatles featuring the music of this famous four from Liverpool. The band was superb and played Beatles music in various styles from march, samba, big band and even a waltz! The duo were a pleasure to listen to. Compere for the evening was the RAFA Band musical director Peter Skellon who led us through the evening with stories about music. The only thing missing was a good sized audience. Where was everybody? I look forward to hearing this superb band again! Make sure you don't miss them.BRYAN JONES - Burnham-on-Sea
