I found your article, about Yeo Moor School, in the North Somerset Times most interesting.I agree that imposing a 20mph limit on Kennaway Road and Treefield would make things safer for the children. Also the introduction of a one way system through these two streets would help. However, as a resident of Kennaway Road I have to tell you that the greatest danger to both the children and the residents of these two streets is none of the things you have highlighted. It is the ridiculous speed that parents delivering their children to the school drive at around the two streets and the indiscriminate way they park. They have absolutely no consideration for other road users and certainly none for local residents. It is only a matter of time until someone is seriously injured or worse. If you write a story then you really should investigate and include all related issues. I could not agree more that something has to be done to clean up the area and make it safer for the children but surely this should start with parents driving at a reasonable speed and parking in a safe, sensible and responsible way.If you don't believe me come along incognito and observe the Yeo Moor Grand Prix: 8.30- 9.15am and 3-3.35pm; Monday to Friday during term time and see irresponsible driving and the world's worst parking.Ernest Yeomans - Via e-mail
