What happened to the recently-trumpeted zero-tolerance towards these law-breakers? I was almost knocked over again today.
And I seem to recall a ban, not that long ago, on alcohol being drunk on the streets and, yet, as mentioned by your recent correspondents, these grubby individuals continue to congregate on the Boulevard, in Grove Park and also on the junction of Alfred Street and Baker Street.
It's no good the police making these self-important and unenforceable proclamations when the targets are too arrogant, too ignorant, too stupid or too drunk to take any notice of them.
