I THOUGHT North Somerset Council was supposed to be sorting out the nocturnal vandalism in Locking Road car park. As usual, our taxes are being spent without things getting any better. Now the coaches that take our children to school are being vandalised although we are all paying for site security. The only supposed solution mentioned by a North Somerset Council officer is to stop pedestrians crossing the car park by closing the Drove Road entrance. So much for encouraging people to get out of their cars and walk. With the lack of disabled access from the car park to the railway station making it necessary to cross the Great Western Bridge racetrack without any pedestrian crossing facilities, one gains the impression North Somerset Council has pedestrians and the disabled well down its list of priorities.CLLR MIKE KELLAWAY-MARRIOTTCentral WardWeston Town Council
