On a number of occasions I have observed invalid buggy users crossing the road from Brockway Medical Centre to the Scotch Horn Centre in Nailsea in the pedestrian prohibited zig-zag zone of the pedestrian crossing.Today when I saw this I stopped and asked why the rider was undertaking such a dangerous course when a crossing was just a short distance away. The rider pointed out that the combination of the slope and unevenness of the pavement meant that his buggy could tip over if he attempted to reach the crossing.Perhaps the council could consider resurfacing this area so that the most vulnerable citizens can reach and use the crossing provided.P Marsh - Avening Close, Nailsea
